We’ve made it very simple for you to help our families play sports!
- A $25 donation will have you listed as a Wellness Warrior
- A $50 donation will have you listed as a Sports Lover
- A $75 donation will list you as a Super Sports Lover
- A $100 donation will list you as a Mega Sports Lover
Where does my money go after I sponsor the sport?
All funds from the “We Pay. You Play.” scholarship fund are paid directly to the youth sports organizations.
Families will apply to our scholarship and they will be notified within 48 hours of their application status. Approval is based upon financial need. The partner sports organization is then notified of the families approval and will register the family at no cost to the family. The sports organization will then submit proof of registration to NOW and NOW will pay the tuition for that family.
NOW will also complete wellness outreach with 100% of the children who are enrolled with the partner organization. NOW Wellness Leaders will schedule 15-20 minute time slots with every single team of every single partner organization and teach their players about social, emotional, and physical wellness. We work with over 1,500 kids per season!

As a Connecticut non-profit (501-c-3) organization, NOW depends on community support to provide more than 1,200 children per year with vital access to fitness, sports and nutrition resources each year – not to mention lots of friendships and FUN!

Since our founding in 2011, NOW has been governed by an all-volunteer board of directors from across the 10-town area of northeastern Connecticut. Our programs are made possible through their support, as well as the hard work and dedication of our executive director and program facilitators.
