Our mission at Northeast Opportunities for Wellness is simple, but so important:

To make a positive impact in the lives of Northeast Connecticut youth by ensuring access to programs that promote social, emotional, and physical wellness – regardless of ability to pay.

“Each year I apply for the NOW youth sports scholarship program. I depend on NOW for my 5 children to play sports. The NOW staff are so friendly every season when it comes time to apply. Sports are important for all kids, but not all kids can afford to play sports. Thank you NOW for making this possible for my family.”

She was absolutely inspired by the NOW staff who coordinated all of the runs, ran with the kids, taught running safety and nutrition, and moitvated all of the children. She ran over 26.2 miles in 8 weeks with encouragement and support from NOW!”
