On Saturday, October 16th NOW partnered with Tackle the Trail, The Quinebaug Valley Community College Foundation, and Hale YMCA Youth and Family Center to host the first TackleJR!

Over 57 children arrived at the Putnam Lions Memorial Dog Park at 8:30 a.m. for stretching and warm up’s. At 9:00 a.m. the group took off on their 1/2 mile run from the dog park to the Hale YMCA. The first TackleJR finisher crossed the Tackle the Trail finish line at just under 3 minutes and 20 seconds! Participants and their families celebrated with warm apple cider and donuts at the Y
